Facts are Mandurah is one of the fastest growing regional cities in Australia and has a higher than average concentration of people aged under 14 years, according to 2008 census figures. That’s why it wants to provide them with every opportunity to engage in equal and inclusive arts activities so they can grow up in a city rich in arts and culture. That’s the story behind Riptide Youth Dance Company and Riptide Youth
Theatre Company formed by the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) in 2012 and the reason some of them will perform a short dance work to premiere in the upcoming season of Shiver by Danielle Micich.
