Music education fails to hit the right note

A new report tabled by the Victorian Parliament has found that music education in Victoria is falling short.

The report, Inquiry into the extent, benefits and potential of music education in Victorian schools, was drafted by the Education & Training Committee and found that while some students were receiving excellent access to music education many schools in the public system fell short, particularly in the early levels of education.
