There is always going to be one winner but the beauty of the Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) awards is that all finalists are worthy of the prize. You get one, you get four as we proceed through the categories, the winners and finalists.

Language of Belonging won the Best Primary Education Resource, from By the Pond, The Wrong Book and Reading & Viewing for Comprehension. Directed by Anna Kamasz for the Australian Children’s Television Foundation, Language of Belonging is based on the Indigenous short animation Wadu Matyidi that comes with five behind-the-scenes mini-documentaries. It was a double winner, being named the Best Indigenous Resource as well.
