Creative Industries are full of innovation potential but when  Prime Minister Turnbull delivered his Innovation Statement this week the focus was on science,  technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

Under the new strategy the ‘publish or perish’ culture of academia, ​where quality of publication is a measurement for research excellence and determines funding allocation, will be joined by a new rating that measures income from industry engagement.
