About the Course
This short course looks at how social media channels can be used as part of a complete marketing program for either a simple or a more sophisticated business.
The sessions focus on the range of social media tools available to business today. Having access to these valuable marketing tools is one thing but knowing what to do with them is completely different.
Over three sessions, we look at who does it well, which tools to use and, most importantly, how you can apply them to your business.
Who should participate
This course is open to owner-operators of small to medium enterprises who want to gain a better understanding of how they can market their business using traditional and new media channels.
It's also relevant to marketing and advertising practitioners wanting to upgrade their skills in new and social media.
You will need to have a competent ability with Windows and an operational knowledge of the common social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ for an organisation or for personal use.
