Advanced Diploma of Music Industry

This program is designed for people who want to deepen their sound engineering skills using the latest studio techniques and DAWs in contemporary settings with industry professionals. It also opens up your work prospects into areas like live production, broadcast sound and post-production.

Successful completion of the Diploma of Music Industry (Sound Production) guarantees entry into the Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (Sound Production).

Applicants who have sufficient industry experience in either recording studios or live sound production, including good knowledge of DAW’s, are also encouraged to apply.

You may be eligible to begin your studies at the Advanced Diploma level if you already hold a Certificate IV in Music Industry (Sound Production) or similar.

Successful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Music (Sound Production) also guarantees credit into various undergraduate degrees (link to Pathways).

Prerequisites
Successful completion of the Diploma of Music Industry (Sound Production) or equivalent. Or sufficient industry experience, such as in: recording studios or live sound production, including good knowledge of DAW’s. If applying on the basis of experience, please provide as much information as possible to demonstrate your experience such as CV, portfolio, references, etc. You may be requested to attend an interview.
