Gallery 1 measures 189m2 and has wooden floors and plywood walls covered with plasterboard. There is some beautiful natural light, but also track and fluorescent lighting. Wall heights vary between 2.7 and 3.8 metres. There are also three movable walls that can be used in into the space if desired, each 3m x 2.5m (h) x 0.6m.
The Walls can be used to create curatorial breaks in an exhibition or to divide Gallery 1 into two separate spaces, making the gallery space perfect for a smaller solo show.
The 2021 Gallery 1 cost is $900 per week (note: 3 week run)
The 2021 Half of Gallery 1 cost is $675 per week (note: 3 week run)
Gallery 2 is 29m2, has plasterboard and MDF walls. This gallery has track lighting and no natural light, making it ideal for projected, screen-based works or 2D works. There is a digital projector, screening wall, and speakers.
The 2021 Gallery 2 cost is $280 per week (note: 3 week run)
Gallery 3 is our most affordable space for artists to trial new works, develop ideas and push the boundaries of their practice. Gallery 3 has been transformed over the past few years to be more than just a wall to hang art. The 21.8 metre long white wall now glimmers in the darkened corridor. The wall is 2.7 metres high, and has track lighting along the entire length, which can be used to create a dramatic atmosphere within the space.
New small wall plinths have been designed and are available so that object based works can now be exhibited in Gallery 3. This opens up a whole new dimension to the space.
