NSW Arts Minister Don Harwin resigns

NSW Arts Minister Don Harwin resigns after non compliance with COVID-19 isolation rules.

In a formal statement (Friday 10 April), Minister Harwin said: ‘I have offered my resignation to the Premier as a Minister in her government. There is nothing more important than the work of the government in fighting the coronavirus crisis. I will not allow my circumstances to be a distraction from that work and I very much regret that my residential arrangements have become an issue during this time.’

Harwin was photographed at his Central Coast holiday home at Pearl Beach earlier in the week, where he had been working for several weeks due to ‘medical reasons’.
