Shrine of Remembrance

The Art of War

The Art of War is a unique conversation with artists Matthew Sleeth, Wendy Sharpe and Tanja Johnston from Australian National Veterans Art Museum as they discuss the intersections of art and war.

Presented as a special collaboration between the Shrine of Remembrance and Linden New Art, hear what these artists learned as bystanders in conflict zones, and what it was like to confront the political and cultural realities we don’t see in the media. Joining the panel, Tanja Johnston will share the art programs ANVAM have developed to work with returned soldiers.

Date: 1 May 2018, 6pm

Cost: $5 (non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours) no charge for Shrine Friends

Bookings essential via phone (03 9661 8100) or online.
