What are you afraid of? Asking a cutie out on a date? Public speaking? Not knowing what the next chapter of your life looks like? Being who you really are?
A team of over 100 artists, psychologists and producers will come together to create the independent We're All Going To Die Festival in partnership with Commune. The premise of the immersive festival is simple: Fear less. Live more. We’re all going to die anyway, right?
The festival will offer art installations, secret dance experiences run by Groove Therapy x Retrosweat, meditations by The Indigo Project, dj sets, panel discussions on death and fear hosted by Tom Tilley, and a mini-film festival. Mary’s, Young Henry’s and Cake Wines will keep the bellies full and the spirits high—the evening will be an amusement park for your soul.
Your fear makes art. We’re All Going to Die have launched a platform online to create a collaborative community based art piece by inviting people to anonymously share their fears. The online fear hub has already received a positive influx of submissions and WAGTD are reaching out to invite you to share your fears for this unique part of the festival. The Festival will be taking the fears that are submitted to create an artwork launched on the night that will impart a feeling of connection and empathy amongst the audience members. The fear artwork is titled ‘You’re Not Alone’ and will highlight that we all have fears and the sooner we realise we’re not the only one the less we feel alone. Submit your fears at the website.
