Family Botanica Science Lab

These school holidays we are exploring the intersections of art, technology, science and history with collaborative workshop experiences for young people and their carers.

Explore biology by dissecting and observing native plant specimens under a magnifying glass. Then harness your powers of observation to create botanical illustrations using pencil and watercolour.

Kids and their carers will draw inspiration from the new Life in Irons exhibition, in particular the landscapes of international art star Danie Mellor.

Ages 8+ | Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $30pp per session, including equipment and materials, on the museum website.
