Culture is the Compass
You are invited to a short briefing to hear about a unique opportunity to attend the KALACC Festival in September 2017. Information will be provided on the festival, the learning opportunities available on the tour, and tour details. Lunch will be provided after a 50 minute presentation.
The KALACC Festival is the most significant Aboriginal festival of culture in the Kimberley, attended by many of the Aboriginal communities of the region. The tri-annual festival hosts important gatherings of key Aboriginal
organisations and celebrates the region’s cultural heritage, culture and languages.
KALACC will once again host a limited number of representatives of philanthropic and corporate foundations and private donors at the festival in 2017. The festival will provide a rare opportunity to listen and learn from Aboriginal Elders, specialists and key representatives.
These briefings are supported by Perpetual, Creativepartnerships Australia, and KALACC.
