Transpossible explores the ways in which transgender and gender diverse (TGD) communities come together through the arts to envision creative and sustainable futures.
Myriad Collective presents our fourth annual celebration of trans and gender diverse community and creativity, in partnership with the City of Melbourne and Library at the Dock.
We showcase the knowledge, artistry, and imaginative resilience of multiply-marginalised TGD people across two nights of performances, a month-long art exhibition, and a creative industries workshop.
Transpossible is an extended celebration of IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex discrimination, and Transphobia) that seeks to empower and inspire TGD people and our friends, families, and allies.
How do you envision a future as a trans and/or gender diverse person?
What tools and technologies are accessible to you and members of your community - or what tools and technologies do you wish you had access to?
How can various TGD communities work together to create a future where we can all thrive? What is Transpossible?
Performance nights on 12 and 13 May feature music, dance, theatre, spoken word and poetry by transgender amd gender diverse performers, to be held at Library at the Dock Performance Space.
There is also a facilitated creative industries workshop featuring TGD panelists.
Launch: Thursday 4 May, 6pm
