To complement our permanent exhibition Calling Australia Home, take a stroll through charming Victorian streets to revisit the grandeur of early Melbourne. Stopping along the way at some intriguing landmarks that demonstrate early expressions of Jewish history. Sites include :

  • the Albert Street Synagogue,
  • Victoria Artist’s Society: the “Foreigners’ Shule”,
  • Melbournia Terrace,
  • Burlington Terrace,
  • ‘Ensor’, Trades Hall,
  • ‘Benevenuta’
  • the City Baths.
