East coast companies dominate 2016 Helpmann nominations

Only a smattering of works from SA and WA have been nominated, and none from the NT, while Matilda the Musical has 13 nominations.

Companies and festivals based in Queensland, NSW and Victoria have dominated nominations for the 2016 Helpmann Awards, which were announced on Monday evening at simultaneous events in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.
