Film pulled in response to social media campaign

Composers have been forced to dump competition scores after APRA buckled to pressure to change the Tropscore film.

Each year APRA/AMCOS  selects a film to serve as a ‘blank canvas’, inviting composers to write ​a suitable score and enter it in the Tropscore competition. This year’s film was Remote, a black comedy about a man’s journey through a Mexican desert to dig up his wife, buried alive, only to ask her if she knows the location of the remote control.
