Growing orchestra receives $100,000 boost

The ACT Government will provide the Canberra Symphony Orchestra with an annual fund of $100,000.

ACT Arts Minister Joy Burch has announced that the ACT Government will provide the Canberra Symphony Orchestra with an annual funding boost of $100,000 from January 2014 for community outreach activities.

Burch said the new funding would enhance the $471,500 currently provided to the Canberra Symphony Orchestra (CSO) by the ACT Government.
