Lorne Sculpture Biennale has announced Margaret Worth as the winner of the $20,000 Landfall Non-Acquisitive Award for her work Vajrasana meditation, 2018, while the winner of the $10,000 Emerging Artist Award went to artist Georgina Humphries for her piece, Tent.to.see.

The three other categories are: Sculpturescape Land Art Award ($10,000); Small Sculpture Award ($3,000) and the Ken Scarlett Award ($3,000) which will be announced at the closing event on April 2.

Spokesperson for the judges Max Delaney, Director of Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), commented on Worth’s work Vajrasana meditation, 2018.
