Queensland College of Art has announced Masters student, Michael Phillips, as the winner of a $20,000 commission to create a 90m x 4.5m artwork for the Brisbane International Airport.
QCA students were given the chance to submit work for the commission. The judging panel included director of the Museum of Brisbane, Renai Grace, and the co-directors of the Institute of Modern Art, Aileen Burns and Johan Lundh.
