Video installation artist Briony Law has been announced as QUT’s Hilde Chenhall Memorial Scholarship recipient, taking home $10,000 to go towards equipment for her future exhibitions. The scholarship also includes an international residency.

The legacy of late painter Hilde Chenhall, the award was established in 2011 as QUT’s first visual arts bursary, with the aim of helping disadvantaged artists start their careers and achieve their dreams.
