Youth theatre company forced to close

A loss of funding means another arts company is closing this month.

An 18 year history will come to an end this month as Platform Youth Theatre closes its doors for the final time.

The Melbourne-based company, established in 1998, was unsuccessful in obtaining both Australia Council and Creative Victoria funding, and this week announced that it did not have the reserves required to allow it to continue operation.
