Further $3M for new arts precinct

Coupled with $4.5 million in philanthropic donations and an earlier $4M in state support, the new funding will make the much-anticipated precinct a reality.

Plans for a new creative hub in a partially derelict, former technical school in Collingwood are now one step closer to reality following today’s funding announcement by the Andrews State Government.

Minister for Creative Industries Martin Foley MP announced the allocation of an additional $3 million as part of the Labor Government’s Creative State strategy, for the development of the site in partnership with charitable social enterprise Contemporary Arts Precincts (CAP).
