Additional $1 million a year promised for South Australian artists

A bipartisan promise to increase grants funding for artists has been made by the major parties in the lead up to the state election on 17 March.

An additional $1 million a year increase in grants funding for early career artists and individual artists has been promised by South Australia’s Shadow Minister for the Arts, John Gardner MP, should the Liberal Party be voted into office when the state goes to the polls on 17 March.
