ACT sector welcomes overhaul of funding programs

Minister for the Arts Gordon Ramsay recently announced changes to the funding process, which have been largely welcomed by organisations in the national capital.

With over $1 million in funding available from artsACT in the 2018-2019 calendar year, the ACT government has simplified the application process and overhauled several funding streams.  

ACT artists can now apply for funding up to $5,000 at any time of the year, giving them access to support for their arts practice when they need it.
