Industry responds to ‘heartbreaking’ new AusCo grants program

Industry leaders and the Media, Entertainment Arts Alliance (MEAA) have raised a number of concerns about the Australia Council’s new grants programs, following the public release of the new funding models on Thursday.

The new grants programs include replacing the long-awaited six-year funding cycle with a new four year program, to which organisations which have already applied for the six-year round will have to re-apply. In addition, the December 2015 funding round has been cancelled.
