Façade of Gertrude Glasshouse; supplied

A Victorian institution is about to change with this week. Gertrude Contemporary has announced a new off-site gallery and project space to be known as, Gertrude Glasshouse.

Located in Collingwood, Gertrude Glasshouse has evolved out of an innovative private public partnership, testament to the organisation’s embrace of creative thinking and nimble approach to programming. Over a two-year period it will provide an additional space for exhibitions and events, in tandem with the continuing program at Gertrude Street.
