Ahead of its official opening next Friday 2 October, the new $10.5 million contemporary art museum, Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) ​has received a major philanthropic donation of $250,000 from the Paul Ramsay Foundation.
The donation marks the first bequest made by the $3 billion fund left by the businessman and philanthropist Paul Ramsay AO, who founded and chaired Ramsay Health Care. He was also heavily involved in the media, including the Prime7 TV network and was chairman of Prime Media Limited until 2014.
