Hollywood Costume a star for ACMI

Hollywood Costume, an exhibition at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), closed yesterday; it recorded the second highest audience attendance for an exhibition in ACMI’s ten year history.

204,412 visitors attended the exhibition which showcased iconic film costumes from over a century of film such as Batman’s suit from The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and some of Meryl Streep’s outfits from The Iron Lady (2011). Other film costumes in the exhibition included The Wizard of Oz (1939), Titanic (1997), and Ben-Hur (1959).
