Arts Access Australia and Disability in the Arts, Disadvantage in the Arts, Australia (DADAA) are conducting a survey that is looking at arts sector employment for people with disability in Australia. As part of the National Arts and Disability Strategy (NADS), Arts Access Australia and DADAA's survey aims to measure current levels of employment for people with disability as artists and as employees of arts organisations. Survey results will be used to create a range of resources to help increase employment rates in the future. There are two surveys to participate in: arts and cultural organisations Individual artists, arts workers or arts employees with disability. If you are an arts organisation, click on this link to complete the relevant survey. If you are an individual artist, arts worker or employee of an arts organisation who also has a disability, click on this link to complete the relevant survey. Arts Access Australia and DADAA also ask that arts organisations distribute this survey to their networks of participating artists, arts workers and employees. Organisations can also put survey links on their websites or share them through Facebook or Twitter. Printed copies can also be filled in and mailed. Surveys are blinded and will take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete. Responses are due by 7 May 2012.
