The Trust Company, as Trustee, today announced the shortlist for this year’s Miles Franklin Literary Award, comprised entirely of female authors.
Amongst the five female writers announced at the State Library of New South Wales today, three are first time novelists. Not a bad achievement when you’re in the running for what is widely considered Australia’s oldest and most prestigious literary prize.
