2015 Australia Council Award recipients.

For the first time the Australia Council for the Arts will present its roster of annual awards together in a single ceremony, what might be likened to ‘Oscars for the Arts’, saluting the remarkable contribution of 10 cultural producers.

They combine long-standing lifetime and significant achievement awards in music, literature, community partnerships and visual arts, with new awards in theatre, dance, and emerging and experimental arts. This year’s winners illustrate the breadth of Australian talent across all states and territories. The invitation-only event has been scheduled for 19 March and will be held in Sydney.
