Brisbane Powerhouse is Queensland’s home for contemporary culture, a magnificent power station of the 1920s reborn as an arts centre on the Brisbane River. It is the home for living art, ideas and experiences, representing the personality of contemporary Brisbane.
With over 1,250 performances and events each year, Brisbane Powerhouse is one of the busiest arts venues in the Asia Pacific region. Our iconic building is a cultural landmark recognised and loved for its legacy of graffiti – or what is now officially known as heritage-listed ‘aerosol art’.
Featuring million-dollar views of the Brisbane River, the Brisbane Powerhouse features two main stage theatres, three performance venues, two restaurants and bars, corporate facilities and stunning park surrounds.
