Relationship and Development Manager

The role oversees the development of new business opportunities for national and international AMEB examinations – with a particular focus on Rockschool examinations within Australia and New Zealand. At a strategic level, this will include contributing to high-level business planning, engaging with external stakeholders, and implementing new business initiatives. At an operational level, the Relationship and Development Manager will organise events, source and manage examination venues, lead marketing initiatives, and manage related administration and scheduling. Regular travel across Australia and New Zealand will be required.

This role is also responsible for the management of AMEB national examining panels and establishing relationships that support the development of these panels: Federal Examining Panel (Practical and Theory), National Online Examining Panel (Theory) and the National Rockschool Examining Panel. The Relationship and Development Manager works closely with the Chief Examiner (Practical), Chief Examiner (Theory) and Lead Examiner (Rockschool), and is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication across all stakeholder groups, including State Offices and examiners. Key deliverables include creating and co-ordinating training, professional development, and moderation programs for all national examiners.
