Merrigong Theatre Company is a not for profit company which operates Wollongong’s premier performing arts venues, Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and the Wollongong Town Hall. The company also commissions, produces, presents and tours professional theatre.

The Company is seeking an experienced, talented and energetic Marketing and Development Manager to lead the overall marketing strategy for the organisation. The position will play a key role in communicating the Company’s diverse program to a broad range of stakeholders, and work closely with a skilled team to ensure that campaigns are at the forefront of arts marketing in the country. The Manager will also assist in delivering activities that increase the organisation’s fundraising capacity.
The position would suit an experienced senior marketer with experience in the arts, culture, entertainment, heritage or not-for-profit sectors, who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an understanding of theatre-specific marketing techniques.
