Carriageworks

VOLUNTEER CALL OUT: RYOJI IKEDA

Join our volunteer team for Carriageworks’ new immersive installation MICRO/MACRO. Developed during a residency at CERN, European Organization for Nuclear Research (Switzerland), this work by internationally acclaimed electronic composer and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda tests the limits of what is observable and knowable in our universe. Sitting at the intersection of art and quantum physics, Ikeda uses the Planck Scale (which measures the smallest components of the universe – atoms) as a way of contrasting our human scale to the microscopic and unobservable. We invite you to be part of this unique invigilating opportunity.

The exhibition runs from 4 – 29 JULY 2018.
