The Darwin festival has launched its 2013 program, This Territory Life, which includes 85 events of comedy, cabaret, music and theatre over 18 days.

Edwina Lunn, in her second year as Artistic Director, says the festival aims to celebrate what it means to live in Darwin.

‘From local Indigenous stories to cabaret fanfare and a rich tapestry of works from influential neighbours both nearby and over the seas to Indonesia, what we hope is that this Festival reflects the sensibilities of our contrasting inhabitants… ‘Those that were born here, brought here, landed here or wandered here,’ said Lunn.
