Feast Festival makes Artistic Director redundant

Board member quits over unpopular decisions made by colleagues at Adelaide’s LGBT festival.

The Board of Adelaide’s queer cultural festival Feast has announced a new direction for the annual event, which will see Feast move from a fully curated festival to a hybrid curation model, but which has resulted in the festival’s Artistic Director Catherine Fitzgerald being declared ‘genuinely redundant’.
