On the move: latest appointments and resignations

From Brisbane via New York and Bundanon, Theatre Network Australia has announced the appointment of artist, curator and producer Kieran Swann as Program Producer for a six month contract. Swann will work in a part-time basis from mid April to mid October 2017 as the producer of the Victorian Theatre Forum and other Victorian events, and also joins the team working on the Australian Theatre Forum, to be held in Adelaide over 3-5 October in conjunction with the OzAsia Festival.

Swann, who has previously held positions at Brisbane’s Metro Arts and Melbourne’s fortyfivedownstairs, is an artist, and freelance curator, producer, and facilitator; with a background in both performance and visual art. He returns to Australia after a year-long process of professional development; including postgraduate study at Wesleyan University’s Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance, in Connecticut USA; producing and public programs assistance with Portland Institute of Contemporary Art, Danspace Project, and PS122; and associate curatorial duties with Venice International Performance Art Week.
