If any industry knows how to make a wave on social media, it’s the arts. In recent months, artists, arts organization, and advocates have taken to Twitter to #freethearts from the National Program of Excellence in the Arts; keep track of the #artsinq Senate Inquiry; called to #changetheartsminister; and protest the formation of the #BookCouncil.
