John's new body of work continues to look at paint as a language, and the painted canvas as a live and reactive surface. This approach is always present in his work, fuelled by years of study as a biochemist. Reid's focus is on the forces of nature and the honesty of the natural world.

Reid lives in the Manly Region, has exhibited widely and is represented by Defiance Gallery, Sydney
