Starting with your basic machine sewing knowledge the course will lead you through the basic steps in creating a fashion satin corset including taking measurements, pattern alteration, fitting and finishing off your individually tailored and boned bodice to wear. Learn about the garments history and be surprised at how easy and fun producing a corset is. Keep it plain to wear with jeans or add trims for an elegant evening garment.
Students need basic sewing skills and access to a sewing machine out of class times.
