Can you carry a tune in a bucket?
Jubila Singers is a choir on the Central Coast NSW which sings classical music and some music called World music. This is music sung from cultures around the world which traditionally sing in harmony.
We resume singing for Term 2 on Tuesday 24 April for the evening group and Thursday 26 April for the Thursday morning group. All who love singing are invited to join.
For now the choir is not auditioned. We believe that music is essential to the human spirit and that singing promotes joy, fellowship and a sense of community.
We strive for musical excellence. This year we are singing some richly harmonic chorales from old Russia as well as some polyphonic music from Africa and Eastern Europe.
The choir has two sessions to choose from: Tuesday evenings in Erina and/or Thursday mornings in Terrigal (at the CWA Hall behind the Crown Plaza Hotel). Singers can come to both for the same fee.
Jubila Singers is under the direction of Jane Becktel.
This is an ongoing singing group which meets regularly following the NSW school calendar.
Check website for the Where What Who When and Why.
