Northern Lights
One of the most popular attractions of the Adelaide Festival’s 50 year history returns this year, bigger, better and brighter. Northern Lights will once again transform North Terrace’s historic architectural icons into brilliant images of colour and light.
This time the light installation - the largest of its type ever displayed in Australia – will extend further around into King William Street, incorporating the rear wall of Parliament House with designs from the APY Lands in Central Australia.
This free event, proudly supported by Community Partner Santos, will officially open on Friday 26th February and will showcase the work of internationally acclaimed The Electric Canvas, who, through digital software and giant projectors, will transfrom the sandstone cornerstones of our city and take the spotlight for 38 luminous nights until 5 April from dusk until 1.00pm.
