The Axis of Awesome are The World’s Most Awesomest Comedy Band. One third of the trio, Jordan Raskopoulos, gives us an insight into the workings of a comedy musical trio.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Batman

When did you know you would work in the arts?
I don't think it counts as work if you don't earn any money. But I've always loved performing ever since I wanted to be batman.

Where did you get your start in the arts?
By being involved in campus comedy projects at Sydney university.

What did you think of your first Fringe World festival?
A+++++++ very good eBayer would deal with again.

How does Fringe World compare to other Fringe festivals around the world?
It's in Perth and the other ones seem to be in other places.

What was your favourite part of Fringe World?
The year of magical wanking and also the play by the same name.

Was this your first time in Perth? What did you enjoy about the city?
No, I've performed in Perth in the past. Your city is ok, sure, it has running water which is a plus.

How would you describe your work to a complete stranger?
I am a musical comedian. I sing funny songs to rooms full of strangers.

Who in your industry most inspires you?
President Obama

What is the best thing about your job?
All the free time I have to play Xbox.

What advice would you give anyone looking to break into the field?
Don't expect anything, that way you'll never be disappointed

What is next for you?
A year of magical wanking. Oh also we will be doing the following Festivals:
