Frank Moorhouse
With the publication of Cold Light, Frank Moorhouse will have completed the extraordinary Edith Trilogy he began with Grand Days. One of Australia’s finest writers, Moorhouse has written fiction, non-fiction, screenplays and essays and has edited many collections of writing. Among his many awards, Moorhouse has seen Forty-Seventeen named Book of the Year by the Age and 'moral winner' of the Booker Prize by the London magazine Blitz. Grand Days won the SA Premier's Award for Fiction. Dark Palace won the 2001 Miles Franklin Literary Award and was short-listed for numerous other awards. Moorhouse was made a member of the Order of Australia for services to literature in 1985.
