In the wash-up to the Federal election and the uncertainty around the future of the National Broadband Network, the regional arts officers from around Australia are teaming up with Feral Arts on a Rural Broadband Campaign.

We are calling on rural and regional Australians to add their voice to an online campaign about access to high speed broadband. We are gathering a collection of digital postcards from across the country. People are sharing their views on why high speed broadband is critical to the future of the arts in rural and regional communities.

These postcards will be given to the President of Regional Arts Australia next week, to use immediately as a lobbying tool while the new federal Government is being formed.

The process of creating your own digital postcard and adding your voice to the campaign is really simple. All you need to do is send an email!

Step 1. Open a new email and type in this address: ps-xNnp@placestories.com

Step 2. cc the email to: broadband@placestories.com

Step 3. Type a name for your Postcard in the subject field of your email

Step 4. Attach a digital photo - landscape dimensions (wider than high) work best for the postcards.

Step 5. in the body of the email write 20-40 words about why Broadband is important to you and your community.

Step 6. Type in the location for your postcard - town followed by the state. Start and end the location with double asterix - **Mt Isa, Queensland**
