THE GALLERY @ CITY LIBRARY:

The Gallery @ City library is a vibrant space in the heart of Melbourne. A modern open plan area, featuring polished floorboards and balcony views. The Gallery is available to exhibit contemporary works in all media. The library receives over 3,000 visitors per day.

EXHIBITING @ CITY LIBRARY:

City Library has a number of spaces available for artists to show their colours! They range from wall space in The Gallery @ City Library on Level 1, which is available as a hanging space and to project digital images, to display niches which are available for sculptural pieces or ephemera.

COST:

$800 for 4 weeks exhibition space which includes 400 DL brochures, advertsing in Art Almanac, Art Gallery Guide Australia and Arts Hub Online, as well as promotion on the Melbourne Library Service website, and Facebook page. A non-refundable deposit of $400 must be paid to secure a booking.
All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices as at July 2011.

FACILITIES:

17 metres of continuous wall display space (approximately 3 metres tall)
Adjustable track lighting with dimmers
Data points are available for digital works
