The Yarra Sculpture Gallery is currently seeking proposals for the first half of 2012. With 3 gallery spaces and a projection room, we can accommodate 2D, 3D and mixed media work in group or solo shows. Exhibitions are three weeks in length, or by negotiation. Proposals should be 250 words or less, including a current CV with 3 to 5 relevant images.
Located in the Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford, the Yarra Sculpture Gallery is managed by the Contemporary Sculptors Association and has been host to exhibitions of contemporary art and sculpture since 1997. The gallery provides an opportunity for contemporary sculptors and artists to exhibit in an artist-run space which has the size, access, and versatility to exhibit both large and small scale work. We are a gallery where no commission is taken & rental is low - this means artists can experiment & push artistic boundaries.
