CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF THE SWELL SCULPTURE FESTIVAL
Swell Sculpture Festival, Queensland’s leading outdoor sculpture exhibition, invites submissions from artists to exhibit in the 10th annual exhibition.
The free to the public outdoor sculpture exhibition will be staged along Currumbin Beach from the 14th – 23rd September 2012. Swell Sculpture Festival provides artists with the opportunity to exhibit in a highly regarded exhibition set within a visually stimulating, expansive coastal landscape.
Artists will vie for Gold Coast City Council Acquisition of up to $20,000 for permanent installation in Division 14. Other awards include the highly popular People’s and Kids’ Choice Awards, Emerging Artist Award, Media Award and Artist Peer Award.
Exhibiting up to 55 sculptures, Swell Sculpture Festival supports full freedom of expression for all forms of sculpture and encourage submissions.
