Three actors are required to assist an emerging playwright workshop a play. The actors and playwright will work collaboratively together during the workshop to determine if the script is ready to show to a director.
The actors required are one female (ideally in her thirties) and two males (ideally one in his twenties, the other in his thirties.) The workshop is likely to be 3-4 hours in length and the actors will be engaged in a voluntary capacity.
THE PLAY
The play is an innovative, exciting one act drama. It explores the absurd, existential existence of three characters living isolated yet inter-related lives in contemporary Sydney. The playwright is a NIDA graduate.
THE WORKSHOP
The actors will get to refine their performance skills while working on this dynamic and challenging new Australian work.
The workshop will be held in a performance space in Sydney's inner west. It is likely that other opportunities will also arise in the near future.
